Refection

I think that selfies are going out of style since "ootd" and pictures of objects have become more popular especially in social media. I don't mind selfies but they can be seen as selfish in a way which I don't believe is true. When I saw the selfie assignment I hated it because I don't like taking pictures of myself and feet gross me out. After I finished it though, I didn't mind it as much except for the actual pictures of my face because I didn't want anyone to see and it made me a little uncomfortable. My favorite selfies from this set are the one of my eye and the objects that represent me. I just really like the overall look/ feel of my eye picture and I think the art supplies really represent me and I had fun positioning everything. My least favorite is definitely the ghost picture just because I didn't have any idea on how to pose, it turned out kind of wonky, and I'm not used to using the app. My appropriation portrait looked really good at first but then as I started to move the picture around and fit it to my face, I realized mine was way to skinny to look normal. I personally don't think it was very successful because of that and the filter I had to use really washed my face out. In photo shop, I learned how to insert new things into other pictures, like how to swap faces with someone. I want to try inserting an animal into a landscape sometime just to see how I could make it look realistic.
