The pattern I created in Adobe Illustrator is made up of two different doodles of clouds, a vine, some leaves, and a sun that I repeated to create repetition. I tried to arrange the objects in a way so that the colors don't clash, or have a large spot of monochromatic coloring. Before uploading to the computer, I sketched out my design in pencil and then traced over it in ink so it was more visible. I then uploaded the pattern into Illustrator and looked up a "fall" themed color palette, so the colors would be muted. I wanted to create a fresh and happy pattern, so I decide to base my objects off of simple things in nature. The pattern came out exactly how I wanted, and will be reusing this pattern in other parts of my life besides just in graphic design class. I learned new techniques in Adobe Illustrator from this project, like how to repeat multiple objects at once so that everything lines up. Overall, this pattern is one of my favorite projects I have created in graphic design, and might redesign my Wix page to include my new pattern.
