I wanted to take my pictures indoors because it was freezing outside and winter weather makes me sad so I didn't want my images to represent that. They were all photographed in my house mainly in the living room. I had a really hard time finding the "A" and "Y" since they're such unusual shapes. I eventually found them in different patterns on pillows and carpets. In my opinion, I think it's fairly easy to see what I was trying to spell and think I did a good job at finding accurate representations for each letter. My favorite part of this was just my letter "Y" because I thought it looked really nice before and after I cropped it. The dark border around it also makes it stand out and I like how the textures in both the "Y" and "A" tie together. The weakest part was the several different values of black and white in the background because the contrasts varied. If I could change it, I would probably just try out different black and white filters to make the letters more noticeable and unified. I would like to do my last name during the summer one day because I think that would look nice.
