My quote says, "feel what you need to feel, and then let it go. Don't let it consume you." I used 7 different fonts and planned the layout around how each of the words would would work together. I stuck with just black, white, and grey colors because I wanted the design to work with any other colors of my choosing. I began my design by practicing random words in different fonts to find which are my favorite. Then I played around with different layouts of my quote, and chose to go with a "longer" look. Next I used graph paper to line everything up perfectly, traced in sharpie, and then uploaded my quote to Adobe Illustrator where I added the grey color and fixed the size of my background. I really like how my quote design turned out, and am planning to print it out to hang in my room since it's also a really meaningful quote to me.
